VelanStore shall not be liable for any payment errors, chargebacks, or delays caused by financial institutions or third-party gateways.

 

 

 

5. Order Fulfillment and Shipping

 


Once an order is successfully placed, customers will receive a confirmation email detailing the purchase summary.

VelanStore endeavors to fulfill and dispatch all orders promptly; however, delivery timelines may vary depending on stock availability, location, and logistics constraints.

You will receive an email or SMS with a tracking number upon dispatch.

6. Shipping Costs

 


Shipping charges are determined based on the size, volumetric weight, and destination of the consignment.

The applicable shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before payment.

In exceptional cases where shipment dimensions exceed courier limits, additional handling charges may apply.

VelanStore reserves the right to update shipping fees post-purchase in such cases, with prior customer notification.

 

 

 

7. Brand Warranty and Guarantee

 


VelanStore operates solely as a retail marketplace and not as a manufacturer.

All warranties and guarantees applicable to branded products are to be claimed directly with the respective manufacturer or authorized service center.

VelanStore assumes no responsibility for product performance, service delays, or warranty disputes once the product has been delivered in good condition.

 

 

 

8. Old Exchange Option (Standard)

 


VelanStore’s “Old for New” Exchange Program is exclusively available within Chennai city limits.

This initiative allows customers to exchange an old appliance, cookware, or related product for a new one of their choice.

Customers must upload a clear image of their old item to process the exchange.

Each old item may be exchanged only for one new product within the same or similar category (e.g., exchanging an old cooker for a new cooker or mixer).

 

 

 

9. Old Exchange Option (Based on Weight)

 


VelanStore also offers an Old Exchange Program based on material weight, available exclusively in Chennai.

Customers may exchange old household metals such as steel, plastic, aluminium, brass, copper, iron, bronze, or eeyam for discounts on new purchases.


Process Overview:

 

  1. Eligibility: Applicable only to Chennai customers.

  2. Option Selection: Add the “Old Exchange Option” to your cart along with eligible new products.

  3. Purchase: Complete checkout and payment.

  4. Delivery & Pickup:

    • For Door Delivery: Within 1–5 days, our representative will deliver the new product and collect the old items.

      • The assessed value of the old items (based on weight and material type) will be communicated within 1 business day and credited to the customer’s bank account or VelanStore Wallet, as per preference.

       

    • For Store Pickup: Customers may contact +91 93636 39123 to schedule a convenient drop-off time at our Nungambakkam store.

     

 

 

10. Service Requests

 


VelanStore provides a service facilitation option for customers within Chennai.

To initiate a repair or service order, the customer must:

 

  • Upload a photo of the product and provide a brief description of the issue.

  • Once confirmed, a designated pickup personnel will collect the item within 1–5 days.

  • Serviced items will be returned within 3–15 business days, depending on repair complexity and part availability.

 


This service option is available only for Chennai-based customers.

 

 

 

11. Polishing & Plating Services

 


VelanStore offers professional polishing and metal plating services, including gold (தங்க), silver (வெள்ளி), bronze (வெண்கலம்), brass (பித்தளை), copper (செம்பு), eeyam (ஈயம்), and steel (ஸ்டீல்).


Procedure:

 

  1. Customers must weigh their item before placing the order.

  2. Upload a photo of the item and specify whether polishing or plating is required.

  3. Choose between:

     

    • Store Pickup: Customer drops off and collects the item personally.

    • Door Delivery: VelanStore arranges pickup and delivery.

     

  4. Upon payment confirmation, our partner will contact the customer within 1–5 days for collection.

  5. The finished item will be delivered within 3–15 days of pickup.

 

 

 

12. Variations in Dimensions, Weight, Label & Colour

 


The customer explicitly acknowledges that minor deviations in length, breadth, height, or weight are intrinsic to manufacturing and material processes.

Such natural variances do not constitute defects and shall not form the basis for return, refund, or replacement.

In cases where the original color variant is unavailable, discontinued, or modified by the manufacturer, VelanStore reserves the right to dispatch the available colour without prior notice.

No exchanges or returns shall be accepted on grounds of colour variation.

In certain cases, the product model number or alphabetic suffix may vary depending on the warehouse, region, or shipping location. This is especially applicable to large appliances.

Please note that different regional distribution centers or area-based divisions may use their own internal product markings or codes. However, all such variations represent the same product specification, quality, and functionality.

By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge and agree to accept these minor variations in model numbering or labeling.

VelanStore disclaims liability for dissatisfaction arising from such variations.
