2. Shipping Costs

 


Shipping charges are dynamically calculated based on the estimated weight, volumetric dimensions, packaging requirements, and destination of the consignment.


The shipping charges displayed during checkout are estimates based on the information available at the time of order placement. Final shipping charges may vary after packing, dimensional weight assessment, courier pickup, or courier reweighment.


The final shipment weight includes the product weight, outer cartons, protective packaging materials, wooden crates (if applicable), cushioning materials, and any packing required for safe transportation.


Velan Store reserves the right to revise shipping charges after packing, courier pickup, or courier reweighment if the actual weight, volumetric weight, dimensions, destination, or courier fees differ from the initial estimate.


Where reasonably possible, customers will be notified of significant shipping charge revisions before dispatch. However, failure or delay in such notification shall not waive the customer’s responsibility to pay applicable shipping charges resulting from actual shipment weight, dimensions, destination surcharges, or courier assessments.


By placing an order, the customer agrees to bear any additional shipping charges arising from differences in actual weight, dimensions, remote-area surcharges, handling fees, packaging requirements, or courier-imposed charges.


For heavy or oversized appliances and furniture, Velanstore facilitates pickup directly from the courier service provider. Customers requiring doorstep delivery for such items are advised to coordinate in advance via WhatsApp (+91 93636 39123) to confirm feasibility and applicable handling charges.

 


a. Courier Pickup for Oversized Shipments

 

 

In certain cases involving heavy, oversized, volumetric, fragile, or non-standard consignments, doorstep delivery service may not be available at the destination location due to operational limitations imposed by the courier or logistics partner.

Under such circumstances, the shipment may be forwarded under a “Self Pickup” / “Hold at Courier Facility” arrangement, whereby the customer shall be required to collect the consignment directly from the designated courier office, warehouse, transport hub, or delivery center.

Velanstore reserves the right to determine the most feasible mode of shipment and delivery based on package dimensions, destination accessibility, carrier restrictions, and operational considerations.

Customers shall be informed of such arrangements through available communication channels including WhatsApp, phone call, email, or SMS. By placing an order for oversized or heavy products, the customer acknowledges and agrees that courier pickup requirements may apply in certain service regions.

Velanstore shall not be held liable for delays, inconveniences, or additional local transportation expenses incurred due to non-availability of doorstep delivery services for such consignments.

 

 


 

 

3. Shipping Protection

 


Velanstore offers Shipping Protection as an optional service.

When selected, additional protective packing is applied to the shipment to help prevent damage during transit.


Shipping Protection is recommended for fragile, heavy, or high-value items. While this service enhances packaging safety, it does not eliminate all transit-related risks.

 


 

 

4. International Shipments

The total cost for international shipments includes:
