Key Features

• Authentic Brass, Hand-Painted Detail: Genuine cast brass with a gold finish and floral enamel detail worked in by hand.

• Stands On Its Own Legs: Raised off the table on its own built-in stand, made to hold its position rather than sit flush.

• Handcrafted Weight & Detail: Handmade pieces vary slightly, piece to piece — that's the craft, not a flaw.

• Darkens Naturally: As an uncoated brass piece, the exposed metal patinas naturally with use, inside and outside — polish gently with a soft cloth and dust the painted areas rather than polishing them.

• Neck, Tail & Legs, Cushioned Individually: The thinnest, most shaped parts of the piece get their own padding before the box closes.

Description

A peacock cast in brass, hand-painted petal by petal, raised on its own legs so the ash falls where it's meant to and not across the table — as much a piece to display as it is to use, every time incense is lit. This Brass Peacock Incense Holder With Floral Design features a gold-finish, non-lacquer brass body cast as a peacock silhouette, with hand-painted floral enamel detail along the tray and small holes near the head for seating the incense stick. As per tradition, incense holders like this one have long had a place in home mandirs and pooja spaces. Because the brass is uncoated, the exposed surface will darken naturally over time with use — a sign of authentic brass rather than a flaw, and easily addressed with a gentle polish of the metal while dusting the hand-painted floral areas rather than polishing them. Seat the incense stick fully through the holes near the peacock's head so the burning tip rests over the tray, on a stable, still surface away from moving air and flammable material, to help the ash fall where it's meant to. Suited for a home mandir, office desk, or as a gifting piece.
